Hudson’s Hope has rescinded their final evacuation alert related to the Battleship Mountain wildfire.
The area southwest of the district had been under the alert since residents were allowed to return to their homes on September 17th. Now that it has been lifted, there are no longer any evacuation alerts or orders in place.
This comes after the Battleship Mountain wildfire was classified as being held on September 24th. It is not longer considered a wildfire of note, nor is it an imminent threat to people living in the area.
