DAWSON CREEK -- A stabbing in the early morning hours of Tuesday in Dawson Creek sent one person to hospital.
Dawson Creek RCMP said it happened around 1am near the Pevey Mart on Alaska Avenue.
CJDC TV News has learned that 4 people, including the victim were allegedly involved.
Police say 3 suspects fled the scene. The Dawson Creek RCMP K-9 Unit was brought in to track the three, however they managed to get away.
One person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A trail of blood could be seen on the ground at the Chevron station Tuesday morning. It started near some dumpsters, went past the gas pumps, and then made its way toward the south end of the gas station.
Police believe that the 4 individuals are known to each other. Authorities say there is no risk to the general public.
