FORT ST. JOHN -- A serious accident that happened on the Alaska Highway yesterday, has resulted in the death of one person.
Just before 8:30 yesterday morning, two pick up trucks collided head on.
The accident happened near the intersection of Highway 97 and Swanson Lumber Road.
Emergency crews extracted both drivers from their vehicles and they were rushed to hospital after suffering serious injuries.
Fort St. John RCMP have confirmed, a 40 year old man has since died.
The investigation is ongoing.
