DAWSON CREEK -- Councillor Dave Lueneberg is resigning from Council, effective at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

Councillor Lueneberg has served on the District of Taylor Council since being elected in 2014 and held the position of Protection Committee Vice Chair and Emergency Committee member. Councillor Lueneberg also represented the District as the Northern BC Tourism Association Liaison and Alaska Highway Community Representative.

Councillor Lueneberg plans to remain active in the community through his involvement with the Gold Panning Parade and Community Bingo. He also has a passion and talent for photography and can often be seen at various events in the community with a camera in hand.

The District of Taylor extends their appreciation to Councillor Lueneberg for his dedication and service to the community over the past several years and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

General voting day for the next local government election is scheduled for Saturday, October 15, 2022.
