DAWSON CREEK -- Dawson Creek RCMP are asking for the public's help in finding a woman wanted on outstanding warrants. Dalena Belcourt is wanted on three counts of breaching probation, breaching a release order and theft under $5000.
The 37-year-old has a long criminal history and has been found guilty on multiple counts of breaching probation and robbery. RCMP say Belcourt is believed to be engaging in criminal activity in Dawson Creek and across the Peace Region.
Mounties also warn that she has court-imposed conditions prohibiting her from being within 50 kilometres of Dawson Creek. They say Belcourt is known to provide false names and use extreme measures to avoid being caught.
She has brown eyes and brown hair. She stands 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact police.
