DAWSON CREEK -- Dawson Creek RCMP said that at least one shot was fired during a domestic dispute near Dawson Creek on Sunday morning.
Mounties said one person is now in police custody after a gun was fired into the ground outside of a residence.
There is not a lot of information available at this point including where the alleged incident took place.
Police said that a woman standing nearby was hit by debris after the bullet hit the ground. The woman suffered minor injuries.
A search warrant was executed, where police said they found 11 firearms, two imitation firearms, a prohibited weapon and ammunition.
The suspect remains in police custody pending charges and a bail hearing.
