DAWSON CREEK -- The Dawson Creek Music Festival is set to return at the end of the month.

The Dare To Dream Society announced Tuesday the event has been rescheduled to July 31st and August 1st.

The festival was set to run last weekend, but had to be postponed due to bad weather.

You can expect to see live musicians, family attractions, as well as food and retail vendors.

Bands and musicians who might want to play, may now luck out and find available slots to perform, as organizers have opened up spaces for vendors and artists.

The event will take place at Kin Park, and will feature activities for everybody, such as a huge waterslide, bouncy castles, water balloons, and more.

"We're just trying to get families into the park, and provide something free and exciting for the community," says stage manager Brett Kurjata. "Probably more important this year than it has been in the past, as we had to give up last year. We'd really like to get people out doing things and seeing each other again."
