HUDSON'S HOPE -- The District of Hudson’s Hope has set a date for a by-election to elect a new mayor and councillor.
Voters will head to the polls on Saturday July 29th, after Dave Heiberg suddenly announced his resignation as mayor at the beginning of May.
Heiberg’s last day in office was on May 15th. Around the same time, Councillor Travous Quibell submitted his resignation signalling his intent to run for mayor.
Voters will be electing a new mayor and councillor. General voting will occur on July 29th, from 8 a.m. to 8pm at the Husdon’s Hope Community Hall.
