FORT ST. JOHN -- Northern Health announced on Wednesday that the COVID-19 outbreak at the Site C Dam has been officially declared over.

There have been 56 lab-confirmed cases associated with the outbreak since it was declared on April 28th. All of the cases have since recovered.

Medical Health Officers, Site C and its contractors, and WorksafeBC continue to work closely to monitor for any future clusters of COVID-19 activity on the project.

Nearly 17-hundred workers at the site have received their first dose of the vaccine, and more than 12-hundred second doses have administered, to date.
