FORT ST. JOHN -- British Columbia has recorded 112 more cases of COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, causing the province's rolling weekly average to climb for the seventh day in a row.

There have now been 148,842 cases in the province since the pandemic began.

Three new case was reported in the Northern Health region in the last 24 hours.

Four more deaths were reported Thursday, leaving B.C. at 1,767 coronavirus-related deaths overall.

There are now 603 active cases of COVID-19 in the province, 10 of which are from the Northern Health region.

Of those active cases, 46 are in hospital, including 12 in intensive care units.
