FORT ST. JOHN -- The City of Fort St. John’s Development Services team, encompassing planning, engineering, building, business licensing, and economic development services, has relocated to the former RCMP building at 10648 100 Street.
Starting Monday, September 16, 2024, the public can access front counter services at the new Development Services Building.
The strategic move is anticipated to save the City approximately $175,000 annually.
Staff have already begun the transition from the previous office in the Beatton Building. The City says efforts are being made to ensure a smooth transition, however are warning that minor disruptions may occur during the move.
“We appreciate your patience as we work to minimize any inconvenience,” said the City in a media release.
