FORT ST. JOHN -- The Fort St. John Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the 9900 block of 100th Street just after 10:30 Tuesday evening.
When crews arrived on scene, they found a silver Jeep Liberty on fire.
Chief Darrell Blades said, “the woman driving the Jeep smelled smoke and then her vehicle lost all power.” She pulled the vehicle over as flames erupted from the engine compartment.
Blades said the fire was quickly extinguished and all the damage was contained to the vehicle.
There were no injuries reported, but the Jeep is a total write-off.
