DAWSON CREEK -- A dead body was discovered at the Kin Park playground in Dawson Creek on Thursday afternoon.
They were found after a driver spotted a person lying on the ground.
Police arrived on scene and taped the area off.
A number of people on social media said the death was due to a drug overdose but that hasn’t been confirmed by the Dawson Creek RCMP.
Due to the active investigation, not a lot of details are being released.
However, Mounties said the death was sudden and not considered to be suspicious.
The body has been removed and the playground has reopened.
