FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. -- Two more businesses in Fort St. John are being issued COVID-19 compliance warnings from Northern Health. Denny’s and Original Joe’s both received warnings for not asking for proof of vaccination. But the owner of Denny’s says they have been asking customers.

The restaurant has two entrances, the front door and a rear entrance that's part of a hotel lobby. Keyvan Gholizadeh says the hostess was working at the front, and a Northern Health Inspector entered through the back door.

The restaurant owner says, the officer came in, ignored the ‘please wait to be seated’ sign and sat himself. He then accused the staff of not checking for a vaccine passport. Gholizadeh is not happy and is planning on sending a complaint to Northern Health.

“I don't know why they keep sending us complaints and the issues coming up the warning letters,” says Gholizadeh.

CJDC reached out to Original Joe’s for comment, however, they did not return our call.
