FORT ST. JOHN -- The North Peace Complex is still being held or under control.

The Stoddart Creek wildfire is being held for the past week and has not grown in size even with the recent dry and warm temperatures.

According to B.C Wildfire, there will be no changes going forward for the next couple of weeks.

There are 110 firefighters on the scene, a significant decrease from the 700 fire personnel the week before. They are patrolling and removing burning material near the control lines. There is an additional 68 firefighters for the entire complex along with two helicopters and nine pieces of heavy equipment.

There may be some smoke but the smoke should not pass the hundred feet perimeter that was just built.

The Red Creek and Cameron River fires remain under control.
