HUDSON'S HOPE -- The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy issued an air quality advisory for Hudson’s Hope and warned residents who have breathing conditions to reduce their time outside.
They said it’s due to small particles in the air.
If inhaled, it could cause respiratory or throat issues.
It’s unknown what caused the particles.
The Ministry said it could because of diesel vehicles, industry emissions or residential wood burning.
Fort St. John was also issued an air quality advisory.
However, the air there is clear and the alert was only issued because of the cities proximity to Hudson’s Hope.
The particles are expected to dissipate either tonight or tomorrow at the latest.
