Two dead after motor vehicle incident on Highway 97

Cpl. Madonna Saunderson of the RCMP says 2 people were killed in a collision on Highway 97 late Saturday night.
She says a pickup truck carrying 4 individuals and a semi collided on the highway at Beatton Airport Road, north of Fort St John.
2 of the people in the pickup were killed, the other 2 were seriously injured.
Cpl. Saunderson says there was no impairment involved in the collision, but RCMP are investigating the cause.
