Suspect identified and arrested, thanks to Fort St. John community

Taylor MacIntyre

On April 17th, Fort St. John RCMP investigated a break-and-enter at a multi-resident complex on 108th Avenue.
Officers asked for anyone with information on the alleged suspect to come forward - and many residents did assist with identifying the suspect!
As a result, the RCMP were able to obtain a warrant for the man's arrest.
Last Thursday, a citizen recognized the man and called police. The man was then arrested.
At the time of his arrest, the suspect was allegedly in possession of a knife - contrary to his probation orders, causing additional charges to be added.
The suspect remains in custody and the Fort St. John RCMP would like to thank the public for their help in identifying and locating the suspect.
