Students and staff at Anne Roberts Young supported Pink Shirt Day in custom shirts

Pink Shirt Day is recognized in communities across the world as an anti-bullying campaign. 

The day was inspired by an act of kindness out of Nova Scotia.

In 2007, two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a 9th grader was harassed and threatened for wearing pink.
