Opioid crisis hitting northeast BC hard

Three drug overdose deaths were reported in northeast B.C. in October.
That brings northeast B.C. to a total of 24 overdose deaths in 2020 and has the region on track to set a grim new record.
The opioid crisis is one of the most serious public health emergencies in Canadian history.
As CJDC's Austin Lee reports, a community group in the Peace is calling for a new approach to the fight against overdoses.
