Mobile Home in Charlie Lake destroyed after early morning fire

At least one trailer has been destroyed, after an early morning fire at Charlie Lake RV and Leisure Park.

Yellow fire tape surrounds the charred rubble of what was once a mobile home. The burnt-out frame of what looks to have been part of the vehicle can be made out among the wreckage.

It reportedly broke out around 8 o'clock this morning. One neighbour tells CJDC-TV he heard "five or six" loud bangs, before going to see what was going on. The Charlie Lake Fire Department responded, but the damage is severe - with almost nothing left to salvage. At this point, there is no word on the extent of any injuries, or what caused the blaze.

We reached out to the Peace River Regional District for comment but they have not yet replied.
