Memorial parade planned for fallen tow truck worker

James Dunn

The tow trucking community will gather this weekend to honour a fallen friend killed in the line of work.

Bruce Olofson was killed in a workplace accident in the industrial area of Fort St. John last week.

Police, firefighters, and paramedics rushed to scene responding to the accident.
RCMP deemed the death not suspicious and the business where it happened had nothing to do with the accident, it only occured on their property.

Tow truck drivers will meet on saturday at the safeway and travel up 100 Street, over to Northern Lights Drive and back onto the Alaska Highway and finish where they started.
