Man arrested for stealing teen boy's car

An update now on a story we brought you earlier this week.
Grande Prairie RCMP have arrested a man for stealing a vehicle from a teen boy.
On Sunday (December 16th), officers were called to the area of 107th avenue and 109th street where a teen said a man pointed a weapon at him and told him to hand over his car keys.
Police say that on Wednesday (December 19th) around 5:00 a.m., they arrested 32-year-old Awale Yusuf Abdi for the crime.
He faces 26 charges from this and other incidents, including robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and possession of property obtained by crime.
He will appear in court January 2nd, 2019.
