Keyler inquiry underway

Witnesses are starting to be called today as the preliminary inquiry for John Wendell Keyler is underway.

Keyler appeared via video in a Fort St. John courtroom all day Tuesday.

Lawyers on both sides expect the inquiry to take three or four days.

Keyler is charged with second degree murder and indignity to human remains in the death of Sarah Foord.

Foord was reported missing in July 2020 and was found in an remote area outside of Fort St. John.

Keyler was arrested after a two week long investigation.

A publication ban has been issued on all of the proceedings during the inquiry.
