Fort St. John RCMP say alcohol may have caused vehicle rollover

Fort St. John RCMP are investigating after a single vehicle rollover.

Police say that at 3:13 a.m Saturday morning, they were called to the Alaska Highway near 100th street. Officers found that a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero had driven off the highway and hit a power pole, then rolled over. The 21-year-old driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police say that they are still looking into the cause, but they suspect alcohol played a significant factor.
