Fort St. John RCMP look for witnesses after pickup truck was forced off the road outside of Taylor

Fort St. John RCMP are looking for witnesses to come forward after a pickup truck was allegedly forced off the road by an unknown tractor-trailer.
The victim said they were behind a black Dodge 1500 with the rear driver's side quarter panel window covered in plastic and duct tape, and a semi pulling one or two fifty foot light green coloured trailers with a red and white round logo centred on the back.

As the three vehicles left the Taylor bridge, the victim, who was driving a burgundy Dodge 3500, went into the slow lane while the semi and the black dodge stayed in the fast lane. Near the Big Bam turnoff, the semi allegedly quickly moved into the slow lane, forcing the victim into the path of the turnoff's light pole. The driver was able to avoid the lamp, but continued into the ditch, causing extensive damage to their vehicle. They were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect vehicle continued without stopping, and a witness said the driver may have been on his cell phone at the time.
Anyone who saw the incident, or may be able to identify the trucking company is asked to call Constable Matt Perdue at the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
