Two men have been arrested after being found in a stolen pick up truck near Arras.
On Thursday, just before 2:30 p.m, Dawson Creek RCMP received a report of a stolen Ford F-350 on highway 97. Police soon found the truck and tried to pull it over, but it refused to stop. The RCMP saw the truck turn off the highway onto 247 Road, which is a dead end. Police then used a spike belt on the car when it tried to flee, and arrested the two men inside.
The RCMP have not named the suspects.
