Constable Jaime Flikweert says that between 3 and 4 a.m in the morning of Wednesday, September 26, police were called to a rural home near the intersection of 231 road and 212 road. Police say 3 or 4 people broke into the home, pointed a gun at the victim and then tied her up with tv cables. The people then stole money and another gun before leaving.
A police dog was brought to the scene but couldn't track the suspects. Police say there are no witnesses or video surveillance, and descriptions of the suspects are limited. Anyone with information is asked to call Dawson Creek RCMP at 250-784-3700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
