City of Fort St. John Posts Recycling Reminder

Travis Fortnum

The City of Fort St. John has taken to social media to remind residents of recycling parameters.

This, after a recent load was rejected by a recycling depot and had to be treated as trash.

In the post - city staff say: "That's right, so much contamination that the depot refused it as unsafe to process. We are talking about dog feces, grass, diapers, bags of garbage, needles; items that never belong in the blue carts."
