Chetwynd RCMP are investigating a fatal crash on highway 29.
On Thursday, November 29, police were called to the highway near the intersection with Jackfish Lake Road, where a Ford F150 with two men inside went off the road. The driver was ejected from the truck when it crashed. He was declared dead at the scene. The passenger had only minor injuries.
The RCMP say that alcohol has not been ruled out as a factor in the crash, and that the investigation is ongoing.
