Blueberry River First Nations Under Drink Water Advisory

Travis Fortnum

The Chief and Council of Blueberry River First Nations released an advisory today, asking residents not to consume tap water.

In the advisory, it’s stated that bottled water will be delivered to residents on an ongoing basis.

Tap water in the area can still be used for tasks such as bathing and washing, but the bottled water should be used for cooking and drinking.

Anyone looking for more information is asked to call the Blueberry Band Office at (250) 630-2800.
