Alberta woman facing fraud and forgery charges

An Alberta woman is facing fraud and forgery charges, after Grande Prairie RCMP responded to a report, back on February 7th, 2018, from a post-secondary institution.
The investigation showed discrepancies in documents of over $5,000, alleged to be from a former employee.
47-year-old Kristina Van De Walle of Clairmont, Alberta is facing 9 charges, including Fraud over $5,000, four counts of Uttering a forged document, and four counts of Forgery.
The accused is scheduled to appear in provincial court on April 24, 2019.
