100 women who care semi-annual gala

100 women who care is a non-profit organization that brings together the Women of Dawson Creek that want to support  local community causes and services.

Twice a year they gather and jointly select a local charity or not-for-profit organization, each woman writes a check and collectivity helps an organization out.

This is the sixth meeting for the group, who has given away $85,000 to community initiatives so far. Each meeting the 100 plus women, welcome 3 non-profit groups to come in, give a five minute presentation and at the end the group votes and decide which organization is the most deserving.


This intake had the Campus Kids Daycare, The Dawson Creek Hospital Foundation and Young Life DC organization.


The winner from this terms admissions was,  The Dawson Creek Hospital Foundation they walked away with eleven thousand dollars in donations.
