Prince George RCMP credit a quick response time for their ability to apprehend three suspects.
Around 10:45 this morning, they were called about a possible home invasion in progress on West Austin Road in Prince George.
Police were told that two adult suspects broke into an occupied home.
Multiple officers arrived on scene within minutes.
When the police showed up, two adult male suspects left the house and ran.
Before the suspects could get to a waiting vehicle, they were caught by police and arrested.
A young man was waiting in the vehicle and has also been arrested.
A modified gun was found at the scene, along with stolen property, a replica gun and a small amount of drugs.
Four adults were inside the home at the time, one of whom received minor injuries.
Three men - a 19-year-old, a 27-year-old and a 17-year-old – all remain in custody.
They’ll be held overnight before appearing in Provincial Court tomorrow.
Police believe this incident was targeted, between persons known to each other.
