FORT ST. JOHN -- The Fort St. John Hospital Foundation has exceeded its annual fundraising goal for the ‘Be an Angel' campaign.

The foundation’s 24th annual campaign exceeded the $250,000 it set out to raise.

More than 600 private and corporate donations were made to the foundation.

Kelly Amboe, Executive director for the FSJ Hospital Foundation says,

“The Foundation would like to thank all our Be an Angel donors. Your continued support enables the Foundation to do what we do best, enhance patient comfort and care at the Hospital and Peace Villa Residential Care Facility.”

The money raised will be spent on a new patient monitoring system at the Fort St. John Hospital.

The system will be used for the In Patient unit and Emergency Room.
