DAWSON CREEK -- 102nd Avenue between 16th and 17th street will be closed both to traffic and pedestrians until October 31st.

This is part of the 102nd Avenue Crossing replacement project.

Detour signs have been placed to help with the flow of traffic.

The City of Dawson Creek website doesn't anticipate permanet blocking of any driveway during construction.

The project, which was announced on July 9, will consist of a new bridge as well as asphalt replacement, and renovation of the surrounding creek area to protect it from damage and flooding.
