FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. -- Thick black smoke could be seen billowing over Fort St. John Thursday afternoon.
The Fort St. John Fire Department receiving a call about a single vehicle fire around 1:15 pm.
Upon arriving at the scene on 99th avenue, fire fighters were told there could be someone inside the pick up truck. However, crews quickly determined nobody was in the vehicle and extinguished the blaze.
A local business owner telling CJDC TV, it looked like someone was living in the white pick up for the past few weeks.
Fort S.t John fire says if their investigation looking into the fire finds it to be suspicious they will hand it over to the RCMP.
