Grande Prairie RCMP have charged two people as part of a break and enter investigation.

On February 14, Grande Prairie RCMP responded to a reported break and enter at a business near Debolt, Alberta.

When officers arrived on scene, two people were arrested.

27-year-old Travis Brander and 38-year-old Danielle Myler each face two charges of break ad enter, two charges of possession of property obtained by crime and mischief over $5,000.

Brander faces an additional charge for possession of a controlled substance.

The investigation the night of the arrest revealed about $200,000 worth of damage to the business’ property – on top of $10,000 worth of items the pair attempted to steal.

Among the stolen items, police found copper wire.

Both suspects are set to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on March 11.
