Grande Prairie man faces 17 charges after traffic stop


A Grande Prairie man faces 17 charges after being pulled over the RCMP.

On Tuesday, May 8, at 4:30 a.m police say they were patrolling in the area of 94 Street and 98 Avenue, when they found a vehicle that had bee reported as suspicious, and pulled it over. The RCMP found out that the driver was wanted on 12 outstanding warrants and they arrested him. They also found 2 firearms, ammunition and some drugs, including cocaine and methamphetamine in his car.

25-year-old Kyle Belcourt-Gladue faces 17 charges, including unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of the proceeds of crime, and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
