Liberal Hopeful Michael Lee is visiting the Peace Region

Liberal leadership candidate Michael Lee is in the Peace Region to meet with voters.

Lee stopped in Fort St. John and Dawson Creek, spreading his message of reversing alleged NDP tax hikes, creating a prosperous province, his views on hunting and fishing, his commitment towards Indigenous people among other things.

He will be spending time at the Alcan Smokehouse tonight.

He was elected as MLA for the Vancouver-Langara riding in 2017.

He is one of six candidates running for the leadership and a new leader will be announced early February.

He's up against Mike de Jong, Dianne watts, Andrew Wilkinson, Todd stone and Sam Sullivan.

CJDC will send a reporter out to his event and we will have more details Monday.
