Man dead in Farmington mutli-car crash

One person has died in a multi-vehicle crash on the Alaska Highway near the 237 Rd. in Farmington.

Dawson Creek RCMP say it was reported that a Toyota Camry travelling north on the highway lost control and was struck on the passenger side by a southbound gravel truck.

The driver and a male passenger in the Camry were injured and were taken to hospital.

The driver of the gravel truck was not hurt.

Police say the male passenger of the Camry succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital.

The man’s family is being notified and no names are being released at this time.

RCMP are requesting anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone with information to contact them.
