Parts of Northern B.C. face smoky skies as wind blows from the numerous fires in Alberta into the area.

Alberta wildfire officials say they're aware of 20 active fires in the province, with B.C. regions like Fort Nelson in the path of blowing smoke.

In a Facebook post earlier this morning, the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) advises residents to monitor FireSmoke.cafor predicted smoke forecasts.
