Police in Fort St. John Investigating Theft at Walmart

Fort St. John RCMP say they received a report of a theft at the local Walmart around 2019 on May 5.

It's alleged that the suspect placed numerous items in a shopping basket and then left the store through the back door.

Police say that once outside the door, the suspect entered a waiting vehicle. 

Police believe this was a newer model black Ford Explorer.

The suspect is described as:

  • 6' tall
  • approximately 180 lbs
  • black hair
  • wearing glasses

He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and carrying a red and grey hiking backpack.
