Police in Grande Prairie say they have caught one of the suspects involved in a break-in at the Bezanson General Store.

On May 9, the RCMP say two men broke a window of the store to get inside, and stole tobacco and liquor. The police say that while investigating a string of break-ins in the rural area of Grande Prairie that happened on Sunday, they arrested 37-year-old Jonathan Richard Anderson, and have tied him to the Bezanson theft as well. He faces a long list of charges, including break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime, and possession of a controlled substance.

Police say the second suspect still hasn't been identified. He has been described as having brown hair, and was wearing a black sweater with blue jeans and white shoes at the time of the break-in.

Anyone with information is asked to call Grande Prairie RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
