Grande Prairie RCMP say that at 12:00 a.m on Sunday, September 16, they pulled over a car that had been reported stolen. As officers were arresting two men, they say two women fled the area on foot. One woman was apprehended after a short foot chase, and the second was found using police dogs.

There were also outstanding warrants for Byrne's arrest.

All four made their first court appearance on Tuesday, September 16.
