The North Peace Family SuperPark Society has received funding from the Peace River Regional District to convert its new facility into an indoor playground. Below is a statement from Jaandi Roemer, president of the society.

We, The North Peace SuperPark Society, are very excited and extremely thankful to be able to announce that we are able to acknowledge the financial support received by the Rural Budget Committee at the Peace River Regional District.

This financial contribution to the SuperPark pays for the safety mats and turf in full. Thank you Director Brad Sperling (Area C) Director Karen Goodings (Area B), Director Leonard Hiebert (Area D), Director Dan Rose (Area E) and all other members involved in approving this grant and helping us provide a safe and fun parklike atmosphere for the kids in your districts as well as all kids within other regions as well.

Please help us support the PRRD by visiting their website at www.prrd.bc.ca

As for what it means to us, this grant approval has alleviated a lot of us fundraising effort‘s for equipment and speeds up the process for us opening our doors in September. The SuperPark is an all-inclusive indoor playground geared towards ages of baby to 12 years old but does not limit children over the age to join as well. There is literally something for every child to play with whether they have special needs or not. We welcome every child and every family member in our community with open arms. At the moment we have a bouncy house that is pretty amazing but once we raise the $78,000 needed for an indoor climber that will replace that bouncy house. There will also be a wall climbing unit installed and there is a quiet room available as well as an event room for rental. You can visit us on our Facebook page for a pricing or our upcoming website npsuperpark.com

If anybody would like to contribute to the SuperPark we are excepting donations that will help us purchase the climber and have started taking party bookings as well.

We are finally able to provide an indoor playground to a community and that is completely due to the efforts of our community and businesses outside of our community as well. We are very thankful for every single dollar that we have received, all the volunteer power that has been put into the facility and all the support from our community by way of kind words, advice and mentor ship.

If you would like to donate or would liken more information, you can call Jaandi at 250-262-2703 or email us at Npsuperpark@gmail.com
