A man is in custody after Dawson Creek RCMP say they found a stolen pick-up truck and multiple firearms during a patrol.

In the evening of Friday, July 6, officers noticed a vehicle with an incorrect licence plate parked in Mile Zero Trailer Park.  After running the vehicle identification number, they confirmed that the truck was stolen. A man and two women were found inside the home. The man was arrested and the two women were told to leave.

Through search warrants of the truck and the home, officers found multiple stolen firearms, ammunition, knives, 15 round pistol magazines and a homemade 'stun gun,' along with other stolen property and weapons. The man is still in custody, and the RCMP have not said whether charges will be laid.
