Grande Prairie man charged, after search warrant executed

A Grande Prairie man has been charged, after RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Grande Prairie around 6:00 p.m. last Friday, May 10, 2019. 
Officers linked a possible stolen vehicle to the home.  
During the search, many items were seized, including approximately 32 grams of Methamphetamine, 10 tables of Fentanyl, around 1.5 grams of Fentanyl, eight grams of Cocaine, two license plates, a stolen vehicle, two firearms, and additional weapons. 
As a result, 35-year-old Shane Anthony Haugen is facing the following charges: six counts of possession of property obtained by crime, two counts of unsafe storage of a firearm, three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, obstruction of a peace, and unauthorized possession of a firearm/ammunition. 
Haugen remains in custody and was scheduled to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court earlier today (Monday, May 13, 2019).
