Grande Prairie RCMP have charged two people with drug offences after a tip from the public.

On November 11, police were called to a hotel on the north side of the city, where they were told a drug deal appeared to be taking place. After an investigation, the RCMP have charged 31-year-old Ryan Lebeuf and 29-year-old Amanda Macpherson with possession of a controlled substance, and possession for the purpose of trafficking. Lebeuf also faces additional charges of possession of property obtained by crime and failing to comply with a probation order.

They have both already appeared in court, and the RCMP says no further details will be released at this time.
