Grande Prairie RCMP arrest man for alleged stabbing

Grande Prairie RCMP say they have made an arrest in the investigation of an aggravated assault.
 
At 10:42 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, police were called to the area of 93 Avenue and 100 Street for an alleged stabbing. The suspect had fled by the time officers arrived, and the victim was taken to hospital
 
On Tuesday, December 18, at around 2 a.m, the RCMP got a call that the suspect was at a home on the east side of town. Police went to the home and arrested 30-year-old Alexzyander Ghostkeeper. He has been charged with aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He will appear in court on January 9th.
